My Story
Rummana Perveen is a fashion design graduate from George Brown College who specializes in production techniques for the manufacturing industry. Rummana's career began as a freelancer with fashion design and illustrations, pattern making, and technical specs. During her time as a student, she showed a collection at her college fashion show. Also, she exhibited her large collection of women's clothing for sale.
Rummana is attracted by the Italian Renaissance which can be seen a little touch in her design collections. Renaissance artists and architects applied many humanist principles to their work. These are part of her creativity. But Rummana is always concerned about meeting the company's requirements and styles.
Drawing from contemporary references, Rummana challenges the way we interact with our clothing. She creates pieces that are fashionable but not feminine focusing on details and durability.
I’m dedicated to bringing the beauty of every person to the forefront of their exterior through the style choices they make. For me, fashion and art are a way of life. My hope is to share my love for the two through Rp design. I’ve been creating timeless pieces for myself and for friends for as long as I can remember, ultimately leading me to open my own business in 2000. Let’s create something beautiful together; get in touch with me today.
